Steve, Ian, Rowson
The Doncaster scaffolder behind the name S.I.R.
A family firm from Denaby Main, started by a son to carry on what his dad built.

It started with his dad.
Ian Rowson was a scaffolder alongside his dad, Steve, for a good number of years.
When Steve died, the tube, the fittings and the boards went into storage, and they stayed there for a while.
S.I.R Scaffolding is Ian getting them back out. He set the business up to carry on what his dad started, and he put his dad first in the name: S for Steve, I for Ian, R for Rowson.
Today it is a family run firm in Denaby Main with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of scaffolding: houses, building sites, industrial work and smaller access jobs across Doncaster.
Back out of storage
Tube
The standards, ledgers and braces.
Fittings
The couplers that hold it together.
Boards
What you stand on, banded at both ends.
A name to live up to.
In the logo, the I is drawn as a standard: the upright tube that carries the load. It stands between the S and the R because it is the one carrying them now.
Steve
Ian's dad. The scaffolder he learned the trade beside.
Ian
Over 25 years in scaffolding, and the one who answers the phone.
Rowson
The family name, and the one that goes on every job.
